Has anyone ever received a replacement for one of these, the dealer has had one on order for me for 7 weeks and still no sign of it comming in.
I would just like a to find out about anyone else'e experience of getting hold of these.

Unfortunately a few people have posted on here about the problems on availability of these units.
Some where even stolen from the car when they were on the transporter to the dealers!!
Apparently its a fatory fit job only, and causes major grief when trying to order new units.
I'd push your dealer/SEAT UK for compensation, or at least an equivalent off the shelf unit, eg Clarion/Alpine etc
I'd say 3 months was a fair wait

I thought that might be the case, the dealer was just too optimistic telling me it would be 7-10 days (from first order).
Mine is useable its just hot days where it has a problem, but I would prefer to stick the the standard model rather than an aftermarket. Still here's hoping after all this wait at least I will get one of the newer DX units

I got a replacement unit in a couple of weeks. It seems I have been very lucky!
My Sat Nav Head Unit has not worked since April when I bought it new. A replacement was ordered (took about 3 - 4 weeks) and has now been fitted. Surprise Surprise it still does not work!!!
I don't think I will ever buy a Seat again. The Mazda 6 is looking like a good buy.
