Solid to vented discs on Corby?

Hi,

Am I right in thinking that the VW II calipers on my '96 Cordoba will take vented discs and pads? I've done it on Sciroccos before but just want to check before I order the parts. Also, anyone know a good source of steel braided brake hosing? Trying to improve the brakes.

got my braided hoses from gooridge,10 each hose,on my gti theres 6 your cordy have 4 i think.
not sure sbout the disc swap:confused:

What size is the engine?

As the small engined ones with the 239x10mm disks it wont work, you need to have the 239x12mm brakes, and then you just need to change disks & pads to get 239x20mm

If you do have to change callipers it doesnt matter that much, as I can do you brand new ATE ones for under £25 each.
