Hi Guys, I'm from Israel and I have Leon 1.8T. I'm looking for FMIC. One of the options is Forge. I have made some checking and most of the guys here telling me that 17 lines with sizing 485x290x62 (and in non Cupra version it has a split in the middle because as you probably know both air flows are on the same side) is simply not enough for ~400BHP and that’s where I’m heading…

I would like to get your opinion on it

Thanks in advance!

firstly we dont rate our IC's with a hp figure as different engines make the power in different ways so it would be a blanket statement of vagueness if we did.
All we can tell you is that the Forge Leon Cupra and LCR front mounts outperform any of the standard units on the cars.
How it would cope with 400bhp will depend on the turbo choice and boost pressure level. A single pass version would cope with higher charge figures in most cases. You also need to be sure the silicon tubes/ hard pipes and welded end tanks on the IC wil take the pressure you may ask of the turbo.
If you were in the UK we would probably advise that we make a custom set up?

on a slightly different note, is the leon 20vt fmic suitable to use on a cupra with a cupraR front bumper?

Yes. no problem with that. I think others on here have done the same.

needs a little trimming on the drivers side fog lamp area though. (but will clear fog lights)

I think there's a pic in there
