I've just ordered a new Leon Cupra, and am starting to think about some modifications.

I've spoken to a friend of mine who's got a 1.8T Beetle, and he swapped the gear linkage with an Audi TT linkage, which he says tightened up the gear change.

Has anyone done the same on a Leon ? This was for a 5 speed box, but I believe some of the TTs are 6 speed.

Also he ordered some TT pedal covers which fitted straight on. Anyone tried this?

If you want pedal covers...go to your local skoda garage and order a set of Octavia RS pedals ..theyr'e alloy and just like the Audi TT they'll fit the leon. (Its the same part)
..and because its skoda they'll probably be cheaper.

There's a thought...

How much would Audi charge for a replacement 180hp 20vt engine compared to Skoda or Seat?
