A while ago i wanted a Ram Air filter from yourself, just double checking the price of one for a 1.8t leon and what time is best to call you

A while ago i wanted a Ram Air filter from yourself, just double checking the price of one for a 1.8t leon and what time is best to call you

Price is £123inc vat, including the extra breather filter.
Optional (reccommended) extra intake pipe is £15

Carriage is £9.50

I am on my mobi most of the time.
give me a bell on saturday from 10am if you like.

Cheers, i will give you a call during the week im workin all this w/end, can i just double check what other options you offer which are safe with MAF's

I dont think anything is "safe" with MAF's. its a really really unreliable sensor.
vibration mounts will help reduce the risk, but so many MAF's are expiring at the moment, you have to wonder if they get to a "certain age" and fall over.

Ok, i was meaning more what was do you do which dont have oil in them which cloggs up the maf, do you have anything a bit cheaper then the ram air (yes i am a scaffy student)

neither RamAir nor Green filters track out any coating across MAF in my experience and running of these filters personally.
ONLY if over oiled by the customer on a clean can this happen, and this is self inflicted if so.

most oil contamination is engine oil from the cars breather system and plumbing thereof.

vibration is a killer I think.. but underlying all of this is a crappy bosch sensor.
