Hi
Would anyone care to recommend a Seat dealer for servicing in the North East of England - say, between Newcastle and Teesside? I know where the dealers are, just looking for the best.

No replies so far. I hope this means everyone is either busy, not interested in the thread etc, or even that there are no other NG members in the area, rather than no one would recommend their dealer in the North East...

I know of 2 dealers in the N/East, but have yet to service my motor.
It was purchased from Alexanders in Sunderland - The nex service will be done there cos it's free - They are the Longest running Seat dealer in the UK and seemed spot on.
The closest dealer to me is Lookers @ M'brough - I took the car back there when i had a leak - there was no hassle and the mechanics seemed to be 'mature' ie no YTS kids playing with your motor

The supplying dealer is Petch in Durham, and having bought 3 Imprezas from their Richmond branch (excellent people to deal with), I'll use them initially. I'm a bit sceptical about Lookers in the Boro and Penman's in Darlo as they were so disinterested when I wanted a test drive - a couldn't care less attitude from both salesmen.
Thanks for the tip on Alexanders though. I live not so far from you, so I'll keep an eye out. White Impreza Turbo 98R until Friday and then Bronze Leon Cupra from then on.
