View Full Version : Size of Leon boot
Is there some kind chappie out there that might be able to measure the internal diamensions of the Leon boot? Its just that I've a little bit of hifi to put in.
I'm looking at getting a Cupra R (if there are any left) and have been down to my local dealers to drive one and said I'd like one but only after I get my promotion (cash allowance). So if I now turn up the salesmans going to think I'm there to put a deposit down on one and get a little cheezed off when I tell him I'm only there to measure the boot!
Cheers Darryl
Sorry about asking another question in your thread Darryl, but this question is sort of related to yours....
I read a report on the Leon recently (can't remember where) they said that if the front seat was pushed back you conldn't but the back seats to fold down. - Is this true??!

Man just go down there (to the dealership) and measure the boot. The salesman won't get pissed that your looking at specifics of the car, to him it means you are seriously considering buying a car. He should recognise that buying a car isn't an impulse decisions and that you have to look as small things like this. If your still worried about going in just to look at the boot, think of some other questions you'd like answered and they'll only be to happy to help, well they should be anyway.
I bought Autocar yesterday for the review and in there it has the width and depth (but not height), so I can work from that.
Cheers Darryl

If you unplug the headrests then there should be no problem.
