Maybe i'm wrong but I was under the impression that a "short engine" basically meant a bottom end (i.e. block with crank, conrods, pistons etc...). So what is a short engine sold complete with head??? :confused:
As for dropping it into a mk2, i'd have thought that management would be the biggest headache. Any of the standard VAG 20vT ECU's means immobiliser problems without the corresponding clock pod. And given the problems some "experts" have experienced when chipping these engines I wouldn't think custom mapping an aftermarket ECU would be a simple task...
