Hi
Be assured we will post up what we find out - its going to be an interesting day - 200bhp max my AR*E !
Ran my car yesterday without filters on the rampipes - more sportsbike than car is the only way to describe it - awesome - shame you would get banned from a trackday imediately.
Cheers
Rob

Hi Bill
Yes good time thanks, most of it was working but a couple days off - watched Belgian GP in bar full of motor-crazed italians which was fun. Glad to hear curby went well and that you are pleased with your Quaife diff - cracking 30S is pretty quick, nice one, hope to get there myself soon (0.59 secs to go ! - 30.59 last time with club gti on Eagle F1's - no times yet on new tyres).
Have been thinking some more about airboxes etc and are now on the lookout for 45mm bore tube with 1 to 2mm wall thickness (anyone know of any in stainless steel perhaps ?) - no ali available as only made in imperial sizes - couple enquiries going about carbon and glass fibre. Intend to put extensions on TB's approx 80mm long, filter backplate, short 40mm rampipes. Then build airbox around backplate. This should fit beeza which is v.tight cf. golf/jetta.
Cheers

Jenvey are making some 22' angled adaptors shortly (I have the first 4 on order) which will angle the airhorns downward and give a mounting for the backplate also.
Not too sure on what they will actually look like, but they are cast jobbies. Give a few more options on packaging etc tho.

Just got a email quote from a firm that makes carbon tubes - 45mm bore x 1.5mm wall thickness x 90mm long, 4 pieces = £78
Will get 8 airhorn flanges from Jenvey and stick them onto tubes - SORTED. Before I put my order in do you want any ?
Cheers
Rob
