Would anyone know if these will fit in a Leon? My guess is yes, but no harm in asking to be sure.

Think so, however they do have Toledo embroidered into them...
Anyone know if the round plastic retaining rings are available to buy separately- I've managed to lose one :(

If you don't have any luck finding an individual retainer, PM me with your address and I can send you one. I'll 'aquire' it from one of the Golf pool cars, hehe...(it'll be black, slightly used, but free!)

PS. don't know whether to get genuine Seat floormats for the Leon or go with the more expensive Autostyle mats (who only specify Toledo mats on their website). Should really support my local dealer.

I have leon one's in my Toledo so I suspect they can go either way
well lads, as the toledo and the leon are the same car on the inside anything thats in a toledo will fit straight into a leon... including those floor mats.
As for the retaining rings, you'll pick one up fairl easy at your local seat garage
