Had my second service from a local independent garage who lives down my road, paid just under £120. 1st service was about the £150 mark from Halesowen SEAT.

Which type of service? Yearly or 10k. If you've clocked up too many miles before the next service you can get a 'lube service' (:gay:) for half the price.
I'd give stealth racing a look depending where you are in brum, they'll do a better job than the dealers.

The garage in Halesowen (All Electric) have lost their Seat sales franchise.

Last time my car went in there it took them 2 visits and almost 3 weeks to do a small amount of warrenty work and diagnose / fix an engine temperature sensor fault.

They scuffed it too.

I travelled to Westec for the last service. It took a morning (i was off work), I just went for a breakfast and a read of the paper while I waited.

I paid £200 for a 40k service - plugs, wipers, filters. I took my own oil though.
