I assume that the garage did not reset the service interval when they serviced my wife's Arosa recently, as the display now shopes service due. Is this easy to reset or do I need to return it to the garage. Thanks in advance

Out of interest which dealer did you use?
The indicator is easy to reset it tells you how in the cars manuals, if memory serves me correctly you have to hold down the TRIP button for about two seconds when the car has the second stage ignition light on. But don`t quote me.

OH!!!! They did the same thing to me with out going into one a bad mouthing dealers i would suggest you make the journey to the motorist center in Canterbury to avoid further disappointmentand upsets
