Okay.. I bought my LCR with 5k on the clock, it had it's 10k service before I picked it up. They say its' due it's 20k service at 15k and it has it's 10k service 5k early. It was registered in Sept 04 so it due 2 yrs service in Sept 06. I'm booking it in early June so it's too early for 2 yrs service but I might aswell get the brakes done right.. for an extra £45??
I've been quoted £200 + £45 for brakes.. is that a good price? I'veg gotta pay for my own insurance on the courtesty car too.. an extra £15 for 1.2 jokes!

I assume that's the break fluid change? No harm in getting it done early but it'll just need doing again in another 2 years so you kind of loose a few months. I guess it depends on if the hassle of getting it done on it's own is worth it and if the cost will be the same.
As far as the service price goes I think it's pretty much standard fair for dealers. I'd ask them to break down the cost of the bits...
It might be worth sourcing your own oil, filters, etc...

I'm in exactly the same situation.
Bought my Alhambra at 11 months old with 5k and insisted that they did the first annual service. This meant that the second service would be due at 15k max (not 20k), however I am travelling around Europe in the next few weeks and this will make it go over 15k. I have therefore had the service done even earlier to account for the mileageI will put on while abroad - this means my second service (or 20k as should have been) was actually done at less than 13k!
I left off the brake fluid change until September as the price was the same with or without a service, plus I'll be needing new front tyres by then so it will be at the garage anyway.
The prices you state are pretty much what I paid, but at least I got an '06 new Leon 1.6FSI as a hire car.
Best of luck.
