View Full Version : Ibiza H&R Cup Kit fitted
Had a H&R Cup kit fitted by Awesome on Wednesday. Car looks superb and rides very nice. Recommend it to anyone.

Looks good Wayne. Just curious when you say the ride is good, is it firmer than the standard set up or about the same? Was that around the £550 mark?
Ride is not harder I don't think (can't be really). It feels smoother, still bumpy as before but better. I have been down a roughish B road and it's OK but I'd say better on smoother major roads.
Cost was approx £450 fitted inc vat with Cupra.net discount (10%). Much cheaper than AmD, that's why I went the extra distance.

whelme - What drop did you get and what was your outlay for the kit ??
bill sauls has a 13stone amp/sub in the boot:cheers:
Aye, tis a heavy beast in the boot, am going to run without it for a while, see if it stops feelin spongy on the rear, also going to take the wheels off and make sure the shocks arent leaking, it has softened up quite a bit tho.

40mm rear, 50mm front - fitted approx£450.
16's or 17's on your car. Reason i'm asking is because i've currently got 17's and thinking of going back to the 16's and would there be much difference in ride height?
cheers

H&R Cup kit
17's Eagle F1's
17s on mine. 16s will give a little more room to arch as overall diameter is a little smaller.
if i went with the 16's would ride comfort be inproved as i would be running with 45's instead of 40 profile tyre. What about the height off the ground, as i've got loads of speed bumps around, my 17's give me a good clearance. Would 16's with 45 profile be the same or less height off the ground.
cheers

16s would be less clearance but very small difference. Ride wise, I don't think you'd notice anything. I think the H&R kit is better anyway.
