As the title may suggest, I have found in the morning when the car is cold there is condensation behind the lenses on the front headlamps.

The car is now 2 weeks old but my dealer says this is normal.

Does anyone else have this happen and is it REALLY normal?

Thanks.

Steven.

Yeah mine does it too, pretty normal id say, ive not experienced any adverse effects anyway. My cars now over a year old and the lights still work fine.

:) dont panic , itll clear up the more you use your lamps , its because the lamp units are sealed , if you have a warmish garage u can leave the bulb covers off overnight , thtll help , but i warn ya , they are a real b*****d to pop on/off

leave ya headlamps on as much as possible , you'll see it clear in front of your eyes :p

My Ibiza does it after I wash it. Only the left nearside one and it only stays like it for about 1/2 an hour. Hasn't caused me any problems.

I noticed both mine had steamed up in corner after washing last night, and one of the head lamps is a replacement after a knock some months ago, it disapared after an hour of so.

I wasn't panicking too much - the condensation on mine disappeared too after a short time.

I was going to just ignore it as it didn't seem to be causing any trouble but a few people pointed it out and made me a bit paranoid!

Thanks for putting my mind at rest everyone...
