I've recently had an idea for an in car mod that i'd like some advice on if you guys can help me on it.

Basically i want to get a blue glow from the footwells of the car. My idea is to route a length of blue Neon String (it's a flexible neon tube) around the floor. Starting near the centre console on either side in the front(depending where i can connect it to an inverter). Moving then to the edge of the car and arount under the front doors below the front seats and into the rear footwells accross to the length of the car, keeping mostly under the front seats but coming up to get over the gearbox and then back around again into the opposite front footwell.

What i want to know is if anybody can recomment a place where i could get neon string from (i know where i can get it small scale (like a few mm diamater but i need at least a centimeter). Any any ideas about how i could install it or where i could get it installed(the big probelm would be knowing where i could get it hardwired into the car.

Cheers.

Go for it m8.

Power supply? Cigarette lighter socket or have you a power supply socket in the boot?

I myself would prefer a green glow, but each to their own.

Maybe a sign manufacturer could advise on the tubing.

Wouldn't want the thing connected to the cigarette lighter and have cables all over the place. I'm going to have to look around some mod shops see it they can help me out on this.
