I used to have an 8V Ibiza GTi (1995 model) and it had heated mirrors that came on with the heated rear screen. Any ideas if I can fit this type of mirror onto my 97 16V?? What would the best plan of attack be; scrappy or new??
cheapest be a scrappy
new would be dear
but possible enough to do
just get glasses AND wiring to relay , OOOH and the relay too k

That all depends on model year - by which I mean the year built not the year registered - model history get rather messy around 96/97.
Also note that Cupra Sport models were relatively low spec compared to the earlier GTi models, the purpose of which was to cut down the price. To illustrate this point, early 8v Cupra Sport's didn't get ABS as standard (re-instated on later 8v Cupra Sport's).
