The fifth round of the Blaupunkt SEAT Cupra Championship at Thruxton provided exceptional racing and thrills throughout. At the chequered flag, it was Jonathan Adam who stood on the top podium step, his second win in a row. He was followed home by Mat Jackson and a hard charging Alan Blencowe just behind. Carl Breeze was back on the pace and was leading the race until he suffered a broken driveshaft, so he will be keen to make the most of the second race on Sunday.
