having probs with the main key fob it wont turn the alarm/central locking off it just flashs at me it aint doing anything is there a wire i might have touched to muck this up well annoyed it still works if you use the key normally but would like to know if anyone else has had this prob regards Quinch

scarey mate, similar thing happened to me too this week, try this,
try locking the doors manually and setting the alarm, the red led will flash on your driver side door and give it 20 secs, then push the unlock/disarm button, if it opens then you have the same problem as I had, its quite simple to sort, open the door card and just make sure each vacuum poe is solidly on their connectors, i had a air leak on mine and by doing this it was sorted, another way of telling is if you lock the doors then leave them for 20 secs, then click unlock/disarm then open the boot, you wil hear the compressor still running in the right handside of the boot.
im off to football now, but ill be back on later if you can try that for now.
IF it is still working ok from key in lock try this ?
sit in car - doors closed
1 ignition on to red lights on dash
2 turn off immediately and pull key out
3 hold 1 of the buttons down (dont matter which)
4 PRESS the other 3 times ( with a SLIGHT pause) 1 . 2 . 3
5 watch led on key (should flash) and doors usually try lock/unlock
6 turn ignition key back on to red lights and wait 5 sec
7 key out again and test operation
IF no joy -
1 try with buttons in other order first
2 keep tryin - never works first time
3 try a remote from a mates you KNOW works (recode it back to his car mind ;)
4 buy a new remote - or borrow one to test it (brb m8 just gettin me wallet ;) ;) )
