View Full Version : Pop up gazebos/marguees
I was thinking of getting one of these so that I could put it up over the car on really hot days and polish the car! ....
1.> How many people on here have one?
2.> Are they easy to put up and take down?
3.> What do the neighbours think about you polishing a car under one of these?
Thanks.
Done it a few times... but mostly for messing with the car, rather than detailing.
Tried to keep the rain off, but as it was in quite a large open space, it eventually just got ripped apart from by the wind :(

Thought about it - but I wouldnt!
Neighbours already think I'am a headcase:clown:
My missus would never let me live it down if I did that. I've already been accused of loving the car more than her.

Oh yes, I forgot about the response from the missus .... I suppose I could say it has many uses, one of them is for the car ...

Glad that I'm not the only one!!
Iain - What sort of size is the foot print on them?
Do you find it relatively easy to secure it down - to stop it being blown away?
Not having shade to 'pamper' the car is really starting to do my head in. Although I'm sure the neighbours would all look at me likw my head ahd fallen off if I put one of these up on my drive over the car.

its 3m square, and as it is on my driveway top I have tied to hooks already in the walls but it was pretty secure unless a pretty strong wind came through...
