All is now well with heater, I had dodgy flaps. Ooh err! :)
The flap that regulates the heat coming in was either opening completely or closing completely rather than in stages.
Swinny can advise you...

Amethyst reset my heater on Saturday and it appears to be working better now (What is there to reset? Has the heater got a learning computer too?!!!)!
If it goes wrong again then perhaps I need to check my flaps!!! ;)

for all those beeza's experiencing heater problems , may i reccomend a FLAP hehehe check first and all SHOULD be sorted if not it seems the only problem is certain temp control motors have seemed to be dodgy , IF you have to get one ordered for your repair , tell the dealers PARTS GUY

or tell him to call and i'll give em the number for the car
trust me it might just save you a second booking if they get the wrong one first time .
ps "if they have or do , its not their fault , i found out myself the HARD WAY"
