Just a thought, if Cruise control is an ECU function, I assume that TCS is, in which case, how easy could it be to add TCS to my TDi??

Funny you should mention this, cos i got told the answer today!
Well, the ECU does control it...via some gadets on the fuel rail....the ECU custs the fuel input when it senses a loss in traction....so the engine doesn't get any more juice to carry on spinning up!!
I actually thought it was controlled via the ABS system...but thats part of the Euro-only ESP gizmo.
Sooo....i guess its possible to add extra bits to the ECU to make it do TCS...but in reality, its probably a bugger to do!
