Im interested in getting this suspension kit and would if anyone can help with the points below

- Im running stock alloys and wonder will this make a big difference to the clearance eg speed humps.
- I have spacers (from bill) and was wondering will this be a problem.
- I have a Miltek 2.5" exhaust will this catch or rub when lowered and also with a loaded car

Any comments

thanks

Mike

1- depends how low u are going :) also is it adj ?

2- not heard of any problems with them only praise

3- although 2.5" it is above (should be)original brackets soif it DOES scrape so will a std pipe :):):)

HOW LOW CAN U GO ?? muhahahahahah

if it is adjustable go for a reasonable height - may look good RIGHT down BUT there is always a happy limit

I`ve just had the H&R Cup suspension (non-adjustable) fitted to my 16v Beeza by AmD.
FANTASTIC!!!
Its @ 40 mm lower but I`ve had no probs with speed bumps & theres loads of the b*uggers near me in all their hateful shapes & sizes.

Although they fit, I had to take off Bills spacers coz in the dips I was getting outer-edge bump scrub.
I think these could be replaced with 5mm or possibly even 10mm.
Even without ANY spacers, the improved handling more than makes up for them!

Handling is MUCH improved & the ride quality is better then the original cupra suspension. Although this may be coz my stock kit was "tired".

No probs with xorst fouling but I`m running a stock Beeza 20vt.
AmD recommend Milltek so I guess it should be OK - give `em a ring.

Otherwise, I`m supremely happy with this kit & have had no problems, just joyful road burning & stupidly fast cornering!
I`m having to relearn the car`s handling now & have found I can get round some corners so much faster than before that I just have to grit my teeth & go for it...
The bloody thing just goes round, no body roll, no drama.
If this was a new or different car it wouldn`t be a problem but I`ve been driving this Beeza so long I`ve memorised just how fast I can take familiar corners without losing it.
Now I`m haring into corners at twice the previous velocity my hind-brain keeps sending me panic-striken messages of impending doom!
Not so good for smooth car control, but boy, what a rush!

Also, the H&R kit has helped eliminate the nose-diving on braking & lent more stability at high speed. As the ride quality is relatively soft I`m now considering some beefier anti-roll bars as well.
Not sure, but I think Saul`s got the same kit on his Beeza.
There`s a teeny bit of rub against the plastic engine under-tray on full-lock but its neglible & only occurs when parking & consequently at very low speeds only.

PS Anyone wanna buy some "tired" stock Cupra springs & dampers?
:D
