cool you just changing the springs on it not the shocks! really liking the cupra and new fr bumpers without the rubbing stripps makes such a difference!!!!!!!

i actually think you can get the outer ring off it as i took it off my old 1.2 to sick the chrome grill kit on and it then just poped back in so you could replace it with the old chrome ring!

looking good why have you ordered a new clutch so early on it will cope with a stage one remap! mines slipped a few times but then gone for ages with out and im running stage two revo with boost 9 ( max) and timing 7.
better be safe than sorry,you never know

dario i would personally have used the money from the clutch and put it towards a fmic but depending on how far you go with the car you might need one and it is the largest price for something you cant tell!
but loking good and hope you get a good remapp to go with all the other things you have done!

where did you get the side repeaters from and how much where they? are they easy to fit? have you got any overall shots of the car with those side repeaters on?
the plans sound good, am quite intrerested as to what the brakes will look like when done!
the side repeaters are for leon but they fit ibizas i ordered from www.autostyle.nl
ordered the Forge FMIC and the Forge Split R valve,also waiting for Forge inlet hose and some other bits
maybe this week exhaust,dont know yet

cupra jay modify your airbox get a green pannel filter and then get the forge 007 it sounds ace on the cupra's not ott! better performance but if you want anatmospheric dumpvalve ive got a baileys and fitting kit for your car??

when you say modify, how do you mean? was gonig to get the green panel filter for my ibiza at some stage aswell. are they easy to fit? take out the old one, put in the green filter?

ive covered it before on gaz's thread the lid needs modifying and the intake in the front pannel do a search mate well worth it

but i had a little crash with the car,nothing bad,just the bumper so i ordered the front cupra bumper,I will color code the side strips,and some new stuff,that you will know as soon as i get it sorted

ITS THE BIG DAY TOMORROW! :dance: :funk: :D il have enough time to pick it up at 4-5ish and get home and wash it inside and out and get some sleep for POD dont think the clutch will be good for launching tho :lol: so wont be doing the strip but next pod meet it will make it dabue and il be used to the new power and feelof the clutch

as for the clutch, being that i work for the company that made my old uprated one, and i knew how to bed them in, within 2 minutes of it being all in and working, i took it up the jbs bypass and did 1?? mph in it :whistle: but didnt give the clutch any abuse, changed gear nice and slowly.

We tell people to go easy on them for maybe 300 miles or so, fter say 300 miles they do feel oe like. no launches or anything though matey, just let it out normal, then give it full beans once moving, but no quick gear changes.
edit, this is triple d on the gf log on.

its not clutches dan breaks its bloody turbos had 4 on his fr 2 still work two have been sent to turbo heaven lol

this isnt the turbo going bang its where seat have put my cambelt on wrong (missed a tooth) and has caused all the damage to my turbo!

with the money you are spending on getting 240 bhp you wouldnt be far off the price of an IHI your pushing your KO3s to the limit you got any sound clips of your split r valve?
on no,the IHI conversion that you did,here in Croatia i would pay over 8000 pounds,very expensive,I will stick to the KO3s with some minor modifikations on it,something like a hibrid

that is exactly what im after around 260 bhp and ill be buying a ko3s with blown internals to send off then just fit it to mine and put injectors on it and my map turned slightly down will be fine revo told me

ive got about 6 people wanting to buy the turbo but i dont know if its damaged or not :confused: as ifits blown il sell it for £50 and if fine il sell it for £150 :shrug:
