Ive currently got some JBL GTO963 6x9 speakers in the shelf of my 97 Ibiza and ive decided to change them, they just dont seem to handle bass at all. Can anyone tell me the best 6x9's to get for under £120. Cheers.
I've got some JBL P-93's, imo they handle the bass very well, anyone thats heard my setup can vouch for that. Mine are running directly off the headunit tho.
You running a stealth shelf Mike? If not I highly recommend it, it gives the speakers a much more solid platform and allows the speakers to peform properly rather than flapping about in the standard shelf.

Do you know if u can get stealth shelves for the Leon. One of my projects is going to be a sound upgrade. Dont want a bass bin as I use the boot a lot for work so parcel shelf is the only answer.:rolleyes:
