I’m a newbie at all this but I’m looking for some much needed advice, I have recently bought me a seat Ibiza chill 2002 the last of the old model. It comes as standard with a tape player and CD option for a multichanger, I have contacted my seat Dealer and they seem reluctant to let me know what multichanger I need for my car, so if any one knows what multichanger is needed or what head unit i have in a Ibiza chill 2002 it would be much appreciated
Cheers
Andy

Hmmm..reluctant to let you know? odd dealer not wanting to make money.
It's a grundig jobbie as standard anyway..and no i didn't even look at the link mark cos i'm a lazy sod.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing by not actually buying it from the dealer cos I think they are about £280 or something which is a bit steep me thinks.

Cheers for the advice, i had a quick look and the connector is there like you said, does it matter where i put the multichanger or is there a special place or compartment to put it,

Yup...looking from back of car...on left hand side at the fornt next to the wheel arch...should be a factory hole for it. You need a bracket.
(Should)

I don't know what you call cheap but in my Ibiza I have a 12" sub powered by its own amp (sorry dont know the amp power) and this is running directly from the standard stereo. I think it sounds great, plenty of bass and the standard speakers can handle the top end stuff fine. It cost about £300.
