Was wondering if there was any progress on the manufacturing of a TIP for the MK4 FR/CUPRA? Engine code is BBU.

Yes it is in the plans but we have not seen a car yet to take measurements from. We also need the stock part numbers and the current etka is very sketchy on this. We think the new polo gti is the same but again we have to check whenever we see the car for ourselves. No doubt when we order the stock parts as a sample they will be back order too :rolleyes:

Would have been willing to bring mine down but just look at the distance, 149 miles away from me - oouucchh.

i went down to forge last week for them to get some part numbers, so there on the case of manufacting it

yep mate i am need to se what power its putting out now tip is the only think left for the engine i think and possible a new clutch :cry:

yea hoping for a good figure only prob could be the clutch as it somtimes slipps in 4th but if its nice and warm it seems ok might possibly have the tip on then as well my maf readings are 175.97 which indicated about 230bhp! but thats not gospel so i really dont know what its going to be!

Sandard parts now here, that bit took an age as the lower half was BO as usual with SEAT.
Mandrel tool is now being made so a sample hose should not be too far away.
