righty ho, my mate has gotten hold of and fitted a pioneer 8400mp , it plays mp3, windows media, recognises windows filesystem etc and has the gorgeous Oel display that sits on the second display panel behind the motorised front panel. its the second link , it also has direct sub drive, DAB and 4x50watt and 2 preouts... after that WHOOOSH over my head it goes!!!

Had 2 of em now - 8000 and the 9300.
The OEL screen went on the 8000, and they wanted £350 for a new face- no thanks.
I got a bit bored of the 9300, and wanteed an mp3 one, got the Alpine 7998R and wow, very nice, and sounds much better (More money I know - but hey)
I've got one and have been pretty happy with it. They seem expensive but I got mine from a mail order place and it was £100 less than in Halfords. Under £200 I think.
Lots of options and stuff. It's never gone wrong or skipped or anything.

Do it Brendy. I've had the P6300 (with changer) for a while now and would thouroughly recommend it. No probs so far (touch wood) and plenty of very useful settings like the SEQ's and HPF (for those of us with standard speakers and no sub!). Last but not least the OEL display is very nice and they seem to get better model by model - graphic equaliser has to be the best..
Enjoy!
I have the top of the range mini disc OEL head unit, the only gripe I have is that Pioneer didn't put a light on the mini disc slot! Other than that I love it to bits!
