Thanks for bringing it to my atention.
Does anybody know if this race series is televised in this country ?
Brian
Well from asking around, it started life as a Seat Leon and then for the second race onwards, a new rear end was attached (it is quick release) to make it a Toldeo. Not sure if the Leon is still running, but its been competitive.
Silhouette Championship is still growing. I think they have some DTM style Astras.
Sutton Images (a phtographic site) has a side view of a Leon at a Belgium ProCar event, which looks the same as the Snobeck car. Procar is sometimes shown on Sky Sports as part of International Motorsports
Another piccy of the Leon is in the Personal Homepages section under Brads Codry

Found a track test on the Silhouette on a French site, so you'll probably need to use Babel. Also has Real Audio files (that dont always work here at work- firewall).
Havent read it myself, will do latet, just looked at the piccys!

Nice find Andy, been trying to find out more about this, good interest item for the drivers club mag.
I covered the first results in the mag ive just done, but this is a good way to find out more about the team.
that is one hard as nails mutha ****in' bad ass piece of SEAT!
Not much of its actually a Seat though, but what do we care :)
Its a tubular frame touring car with composite bodies (Toldeo/Leon) interchangable. Its mid engined running the new AUDI V6 3.0 30v if the info on the French site is correct.
Bloody impressive, so Snobeck Team if your reading this how about bringing it over to Trax next year and joining us on the club stand :D
Hubba Hubba!
And if I convince myself that 10-spokes are the same as 11-spokes they've copied my wheels!
Smidge bigger right enough.....but kewel!
