I`ve just purchased a set of skirts for the ibiza and had a chance to have a read through the fitting instructions.

How hard are these to fit? Does anyone have any experience of doing so (CARLT?)?

If they are a bit of a pain, how much does it cost to get them fitted by a garage?

Any ideas.

Cheers:cheers:

Really simple, got mine for a tenner each, just bought the fitting pack for 28 quid. Basically ive fitted one so far, what i did and they look fine was to use GRIPFIX which is VERY strong glue you put on with them guns, only 3 quid a tube. Firstly glue them little plastic things (white on mineX5) to the sill let the glue set then screw them in. Attach the little clips to the bottom of the skirts. Push the skirt into the white clips and screw into the sill underneath with the 5 fitting screws, self tappers. Then stuff some gripfix down the end of the skirt on the wheel arch and srew that in. Then just screw that plastic end cap on the other end. The reason i use the gripfix is because my local seat place has to refit skirts quite often. It sets so solid and doesnt shift so they stay on forever.Mine is perfect and stuck solid. Let me know how it goes. I havent done my grille yet, hows yours? Got my twin pipe turbo exhaust on.
