ok, i currently own a 2.0 8v cupra, and was just curious about the new shape ibiza 1.9TDi. Questions:
Can you get a 3 door TDI?
Whats the 0-60?
What colours?
How many miles you get from a full tank of diesel on the TDI?
And, how much are they brand new normally?

I drove chipped TDi while I was having my amp fitted last week it was a three door I'm pretty certain??? It's based on the 1.6 Sport so I'm sure it was. Curse my crap memory. (Swinny are you out there to help?)
I don't know on the exact amount but I'd hazard a guess at between 400 and 500 miles depending on how you drive. It'll cost about 30quid to fill up assuming it has the same size tank as my Cupra (45litre). At high speed it wasn't dropping below 40mpg!

the latest TDI is standard 110bhp (chipped 130) and is available as the SPORT model , same shape as the basic model BUT:
15" alloy wheels
dsl has REAR discs
TCS
roof spoiler
sport trim
to be honest if u can live with diesel its an excellent car and handles (maybe the weight) sturdier than the cupra
colours : all the flash colours you'd imagine PLUS bronze metallic

I definately think you should get one. My friend put a 90bhp tdi engine into his mk2 golf and now has it tuned to 165bhp and 320 lbs/ft of torque. It pulls like a train fron 2000 rpm and at a track day was quicker than a VR6 golf over the quarter mile and could pass impreza turbos out on the track. He reckons for about 800 quid you could have a 90 bhp tdi making about 140bhp and 250 lbs/ft of torque. If you do decide to get on and want to know anything give us a shout.
