my car has done 11k and next service is due in 600 miles! the car had its 10k service after a year at 1.6k i went into my dealer and asked how much my next service would be. they told me it needed a 20k and it was nearly 200 pounds as it needed to be this to keep warrenty. will it be ok to get just a 10k service and inspection as its only just over 10k and it inst 2 years old yet so i dont belive it needs a 20k? what would others do!
you need to change your brake fluid too at 2yrs dont' forget

Gaz I believe you only need an Inspection Service and they shound change the oil during this service because of the mileage covered during the past year. When was it last serviced? What month year? It wont be a 20K because you havent done the mileage - its either 10K or 12 mths.

it was lasat serviced on the 16th of november at 1.6k that was a year old then its now done another 10k since then so a rutine service and oil change is ok then!

Defo dont need the 20k. Seems like youll get yours serviced every 10K then because of the mileage your doing (all those meets mate). So an inspection service now with oil change and then the ''additional checks'' for the 20k in the future and so on at 40k, 60k.

cheers mate looks like the two year manufactuers warrenty is unaffected by servicing at local dealers but 3rd year dealer warrenty might not be valid! thats what it looks like, if i get it done at a vag specialist like jbs then they may have a seat stamp and dealer is none the wiser!

Gaz JBS's stamp says "Volkswagon-Audi-Seat-Skoda Specialists" I dont think this would affect your resale value at all.
