Had my shiny new Toledo about 3 weeks now super car, but i can't get the Sat Nav to receive any TMC stations to divert you away from traffic (which its supposed to do) if i try to select TMC stations in the settings menu i get a dull bleep as if it is not available
How do you get it to work ?
Another question - Where is the Aux connection ? surely its not at the back of the unit where nobody can reach it !!!
Stu
sorry i wasn't aware TMC was availble on the SEAT sat nav
i'll look into it
AND
try and find a wiring plan for the AUX

I asked SEAT customer care about this after Bournemouth SEAT upgraded my system to Dynamic SatNav following a few problems (Thank You BMTH SEAT).
They stated that they would be unlikely to enable the Dynamic aspects (Traffic Avoidance) in the next few years as the cost of the licences did not make this economic.
Unless no-one in the VAG group will get the new facility I struggle to follow the logic of this. Surely all the hard work has already been done and the investment made? Any extra licences sold are money in the bank I would have thought.

My Brother took a trip to south France earlier this year in his V5 and used a France satnav disk (available on the net if you know where to look!) and the TMC feature worked over there, he found most useful as it saved him getting cought up in traffic a couple of times. It appears that the system is not available over here (as usual us Brits loose out!)which is a shame as it's what satnav is all about really.

The aux in connector is on the rear, unfortunately, but is the "Standard" Blaupunkt connector, leads available from the better ICE stores (Unicar, Leeds) being my local.
