Was just gonna buy everything they do but thought i would ask on here what other people do before i just went out and bought the lot and wasted a load of money

its not necessarily what you use, but how you use it!
On black, technique is EVERYTHING.
So, get some clay, a paint cleanser, a good polish, sealant and wax.
Use the wax monthly, and the clay, cleanser, polish and sealant 6 monthly.
If you really want to stick to meguiars
Clay kit, DC step 1, NXT, number 20 polymer sealant, and #16.
If you are happy to mix and match slightly to get better results and products:
DP Clay bar, Pinnacle Cleansing lotion, Poor boys polish, Wolfgang sealant, Natty's blue wax.
Second list can be bought from motorgeek.co.uk
Hope this starts you off!

well name some products that you would recommend as i use meguiars at the mo but not fussed what i use aslong as it makes the car look the dogs nuts, cause i know black gets loads of swirl marks, i am gettin it super guarded but i aint gotta pay as the people at my work are gonna do it for free as they owe me a few favours

Thing is if the car has swirl mark already then the super guard will cover and seal those swirls in forever....(well not forever, but dam difficult to remove)
As Iain said is perfect for a black car... just look at this link, i have a black Leon and look at the gloss i gave it...
