Hi,
I would like to know if there's somebody outhere who has some experience with mounting sparco pedals (or sportpedals in general) in a Seat Ibiza (2000)?
I presume that I will have to do some drilling, but I already read some things about the fact that the standard pedals in the ibiza don't have that much space for drilling. Is this true?
Anybody wants to share his experience or give me some tips?

not sure on the similarity but my 1995 ibiza was a bit of a pig to drill i couldn't do the top left on the clutch as i couldn't get the cordless even close,you need a good drill and bit, make sure you don'yt go through to the floor:D but mine are much better than the slippy standard ones and after 18mths or so still have the original rubber grips(mine are hp raid btw) :cheers:

I've got sparco pedals - the rough aluminium finish ones - had to swop round the accelerator around as is fouled the brake when depressing it(ABS workout!).
Advice measure twice, test with card board templates, drill once.
This is on a 1998 Cordoba.:cheers:

Oh hand on might be momo....stilli it's all the same init.

What year is your Ibiza, I tried to fit some sparco pedals to my 51 Ibiza Cupra and decided not to bother because the clutch pedal would have to have been modified, it's a lot of hassle for such a small mod

My Ibiza is from 2000. I also didn't fit my pedals yet. If I want to install them I definetly have to drill my original pedals. And I would have to move the new pedals a little bit to the right or left because you can't drill right in the center of the original ones.
If I don't find another easier way of mounting them, I also think I'm gonna look for others, with some sort of fitting mechanism that doesn't require any drilling.
Btw does anybody know if Sparco has also pedals that come with a fitting mechanism where there's no need to drill?

Dunno why peeps want Alloy pedals on Cupra's anyway. You already have metal ones!!!

Maybe it was not really clear, but I don't have a Cupra.
I've a TDi sport which has standard, ugly looking, clear black pedals.
But how do Cupra pedals look? Because maybe it's better for me to order such a set. And how are they fitted? No drilling?

Yeah they do but they don't fit the Cupra thats for sure.
Fixing holes for the clutch and brake are vertically offset diagonally.
All the fixing holes on the Momo's are vertically inline centrally.
Luckily my dealer let me take them home to try before I buy sort of thing.
Just to let you all know if anyone was thinking of getting some to replace the 'slippery as feck' standard metal ones.

Look at the OMP ones then. The catalogue pics I've seen show holes left and right for drilling not down the centre line. I read that some pedals are not legal for road use. Not sure on this but this may refer to those carbon or polished items without any rubber grips?
