can anyone give me the details of this engine or point me in the direction of some as I cant find anything about it as the 16v seems to be the most favourable. looking for engine details aswell as stuff worth doing to it

also does anyone know if its the same as the one in the mk4 Golf GTi thats pretty slow? :( or is it an entirely different lump?

Golf 4 lump was crossflow, yours isn't

single cam, basic 4 pot 8v engine really.

responds well to a cam & porting
