Tonight i sold my 2001 Y Reg ibiza cupra with 26k on the clock.

Haven't had it long but due to an upcoming career change i wont get to drive my car as often as i would normally so i decided to sell up and get something cheaper.

I do however now own a Mark 3 Golf VR6 and i'm loving it :p

£7k is a good price, sounds like a good car as well, 26k is nothing at all!

I was thinking of doing the same depending on where my new job is located. Would love VR but probably end up going TDi. Any pics of the Golf??

love it mate, amazon green really suits mk3 golfs. Those BBS rims work really well, very expensive aswell so keep them in good nick.

debadged grille and a polished inlet would finish it off imo

thats mint mate...think id prefer the VR + abit of cash over a cupra too but im addicted to boost and abit of an age snob (couldnt just drop down regs for my daily drive)

love it though...especially those rims...be well carefull with them babies

Its lowerred on koni coilovers at the minute, really happy with the ride. Its a less harsh a ride than the standard cupra suspension :happy:

Only things im doing to it are 2 slat debadged grill, BMC enclosed induction kit and a Jetex S/S exhaust

Won't do anything else to it. The cupra beats the vr6 easily off the line.

But once in 3rd gear the VR6 goes from 40 - 100 with ease and the sound is just mint :D

IMO keep the standard grill/badge! I love the standard look!
