Morning All,

Well what a great start to the week. After only 8500 miles in the Ibiza Cupra R, I now need a new Ignition coil. The car started spluttering and felt like a non turbo. Sounded like a fully modded scooby though, just without the go.

After all I have said about Newbury Seat, I had no choice but to take it to them on my way to work. I have to say that I was a little happier with them this time, as perhaps the 'real' problem appealed to them a little more?

Andy again was a diamond. Told me straight away what the problem was and that it was common around 8500 miles on the Ibiza Cupra R's and that it would probably be ready for lunch time. The lady on reception was nice enough to me, but I still got a strange feeling when I entered the building. It felt like I wasnt supposed to be there because I hadn't bought the car from them. Surely they all work for the same company and any work is done under warranty and therefore charged direct to Seat? Correct me if I am wrong.

Only problem was, as it was short notice that my car was there, there was no courtesy car available until a week today.

I will keep anyone interested posted of the outcome.

Cheers for now

Nobber

Well got my car back. Was ready at 3:30pm the same day. Fantastic stuff.

All sorted no problems.

Have to say I was impressed with Huzzey's this time although there was a still this 'air' of 2nd class citizen ship going on.

Perhaps it was just me.

All in all I was happy with the work carried out and the manor in which it was done.

By the way, whats an Audit trail? Reason I ask is I was told to sign the work carried out sheet and then told that it would have to be put the an audit trail with Seat blah blah blah. I stopped listening after the words audit trail as I thought to myself I dont need to know this.

Car is now back to full strength. Thanks Huzzey's. Special thanks to Andy who diagnosed on the spot and also fitted the part as the workshop was busy.

P.S. I was suffering with the flu which may have made me slightly hostile!

Not had that problem myself (and i've got an import!). Very pleased with there service. Andy and Matt Stone (sales) have both been very helpful, pretty much the best dealer i've used.

You could always try 3rd class citizenship. A couple of dealers in Hampshire (not Great Covert!) will give you a taste of it!

well done Huzzeys!
