Had my suspension kit fitted by Awesome and the car is low (50/40 drop) !!!
the handling has just transformed the car and gives far more confidence round corners etc
Ride comfort has not been suffered even for such a big drop. very impressed.
Im running stock alloys plus 20mm spacers and seems to be no bump scrub on the rears (at present)
Quick question - How can alloys of sizes eg 16 x 6.5, 17 x 7 etc fit and have no effect with catching wheel arches if there width is wider than stock 16x6 plus a 20mm spacers which can ?
is it to do with offsets, if so can someone explain
many thanks

It is all to do with offsets. spot on. :)
20mm Spacers can be turned down to 15mm ones for extra clearance for info.

I run 7x17s with same kit. No real probs unles car loaded but have no spacers on rear - yet. Excellent choice of suspension, very pleased with mine, but have a lot more torque steer now, pulling left, had none before.
Just intrested what pepole are paying for the above kit
thanks

It's supposed to be standard -0.5. Awesome said uprated wishbone bushes should stop it.

Mine runs -1.5' and does run poly bushes.
Did Awesome say which make of bushes they would recommend?
Mk3 Golf ones will be the fitment not MK2 for info.
Mk2 ones if Poly, like Bugpack, PolyRace etc don't fit without modification.
Vibratechnic make some apparently.
Will probably change mine to these from Poly when I get the chance.
