I actually quite like it with the rectangular plate. I suppose driving a car with that style of plate for the past 8 months I am used to seeing it.

Any more pics? (side and rear?)

Have you some interior shots? All this talk about how cr@p the plastic is ....
Has it built a dam in the corner of the showroom yet?

the plate is technically illegal...
OOO, RS4 rims, now that looks stunning!
the plate is technically illegal...
How and why? My dad has a square plate on the front also

they are not allowed on cars, the only exception is for imported car, (eg japan) where the body work only allows for square plates.
however, they are often on 4x4's so i guess its not enforced that well.

Is that right? My current car is a Hyundai Coupe and I have a square plate at the front and the car is a UK car not an import.

Looks good. :) Whats the interior retrim costs, must say its one of the more tasteful interior retrims ive seen of late, suits the car very well and isn't garish, as more often than not they tend to go completely over the top.

Are they 18's or 19's ?
BicketsSEAT
02-10-2006, 14:44
the car's sporting a set of 19's
interior taken care of by a company called Baillies, in Renfrewshire i believe.
They get all their leather from a tannery up here as well, that used to provide the hide for gm,saab, jag, ford and so on.the hide is arguably better quality that the standard SEAT stuff.Baillies now hold the patterns for both Leons, and Altea's, so it should be a fairly standard job for them...and it costs in the region of £1000 for the whole job.
Sweet. Are they Audi rims or copies? Get an Ibiza done and give me some ideas!

Thats not a bad price really. Does look nice on 19's - lets hope there an option.
Serious question.. how much extra weight does the full bodykit add?
How have you got round the kit not currently approved for New Leon FR?

Bad ass - nuff said
Yep agreed its bad ass :D
Alex
Car looks great (agree with the beaver comment)
I have some questions:-
How much is the car lowered?
Is it a Seat approved lowering kit and how much is it fitted?
Lastly how much does it stiffen the already hard ride with 18s.?

i believe the seat approval re bodykit on fr, goes along the lines of the factory fitted exhaust doesnt fit the bodykit.the fr's that we've had in showroom with kit, have all had stainless steel exhaust systems(with lifetime warranties) fitted at owners request.so the SEAT approval is more to do with the exhaust system, rather than the actual bodykit.maybe someone can correct me if im wrong?!?
the car has been lowered by one and a quarter inches(on eibach springs), and rides well with the 19's...not that firmer than the standard fr.
on the weight issue, the kit weighs very little more than the parts it replaces.
