AP Racing 4-pots in 16' wheels?

Has anyone fitted the AP Racing 4-pots in 16' wheel?
I know I will need spacers for the offset but is the diameter of the wheel enough?

My car is Leon MK1 and I have ATE54 calipers on 312x25 discs. I believe the discs are the same and the idea is to keep my winter setup wheels.

What coilovers are people using?

I'm going to start saving for coilovers for my FR CR170 TDi. I've heard mixed things about the Eibach ones...what are the best ones overall? I've seen odd bits about random ones but I want a discussion from peoples experiences.

Induction kit on LCR 225?

Hi, I'm toying with the idea of an induction kit on my LCR 225. Is this a good idea? What are the pitfalls and will it make any difference?

I'm currently running a K&N panel filter in the standard air box which has improved breathing for the engine but that's about it really.

DAB and USB upgrade

Hi All,

I have a seat leon 1.4 tsi stylance and I looking at upgrading the radio to a DAB and I am also looking at adding a usb port. I don't want to upgrade to a high end sat nav unit because of the cost and difficulty of installing. I have been looking at an auto DAB unit that will allow me to keep the existing unit and control the channels by on the control on the wheel. Has anyone else installed a similar unit?

Also has anyone installed a usb add on unit?

Any suggestions

Hi been lurking on forum sinse buying my girlfriends seat leon cupra r must say realy happy with performance just shame about the colour ;) ..... Quite wel known on other forums and have had a few cars .. Last two cars i had made it in to forum calenders and my old mk2 golf that i converted to a 20v turbo is currently in 2013 golf gti forum calender ,

At the mo just looking at suspension upgrade as if im going to keep it she will need to be dropped ;) have met george already who already kindly plugged my car for me and give her a clean bill of health .. Hope to catch up with some you guys at local meets :)

Well I finally made the move from the 'Low and Slow' VW scene, got fed up of dodging potholes so decided to get a car I can enjoy driving.

Previous cars were my 1.6 Bora which was on air and genuine BBS RS's

Metallic silver. 2.0L petrol. 5-speed manual gearbox. 33,280 miles approx (will rise slowly as car is in use). 3 former keepers. MOT to 6th August, tax to 31st August.

The time has come to sell up my long commuting trips are nearly done now so looking to get something a bit thirstier ;)

I'm the second owner and both me and the previous owner took good care of the car. I owned the car since 02/10 and covered nearly 40k miles in the 2 years. The car hasn't missed a beat.

The car is in very good mechanical order
Recent work carried out includes a gearbox refurb (5th gear started whining, turned out to be synchro, warranty up to august included)
All break discs and pads changed to brembo blanks and ferodo pads
Climate control panel was changed due to dead pixels
Air Con System Regased

The body work needs attention tho. As I cover a lot of miles every week, the car is quite scratched and stone chipped. It could use a good detail session.
Particular area of interest is the front bumper. During this winter it took quite a brunt from the grit on the roads.
Another bad point on the bodywork is the front bumper again. While the car was parked at my cousins someone reversed into the car. The resulting damage was 2 larger scrapes on the bumper where the other car managed to scrape the paint away. A few small areas where the paint has been stressed and cracked (no chipping, the paint is holding fine).

There is also the a larger scrape on the near side wing, the car had this scrape when i bought it. It hasn't bothered me, so it got put on the last spot on the to do list and thus never got done.

Due to the distance the car has traveled it does have a few dings and dents.

Bad points:
-The bump strip on the drivers side door sill is wrinkled, doesn't do anything just looks wrinkled
-The arm rest is stuck in the up position, im currently investigating, will try to fix it before sale
-Boot light doesn't switch on when the boot is open, nor does the warning light on the dash. Suspected boot lock, will change it before sale, hopefully will fix it.
-Rear number plate looks dated
-The body work problems listed above

The car is going in for a full service on the 28th of May
Anti roll bar bushes, aux belt tensioner and aux belt will be changed during this service, aswell as anything else if needed.

Will try to clean the car before the weekend and will get more interior/exterior pics

I know this has probably been asked a billion times. But will other model coilovers and springs for my LCR ie from an a3 or golf ? Really lookin for some coilovers but the difference in price between standard Leon's and LCR coilovers massive and can't really see why ? Unless someone on here wants to sell me some ?

Hi I know people keep posting about this but everyone you read are different can anyone tell me what the fault is I have read it can be 1 of the O2 sensors or a map sensor this is my girlfriends car it is not thrashed at all more like a granny has been driving it I clear the fault and it come back on after about a month the other day it struggled to start just keep spinning over she needed to press the accelerator to help it start please someone help

Would it be ok to have 215/45/17 tyres on the front and 225/45/17 tyres on the back? If not why not? What difference will it make reducing the tyre width? Im also trying to find out the recommended tyre width for an Altea FR Tfsi Dsg.

Any advice would be appreciated

Agu engine into a Cupra

Currently doing a ko4 conversion with a forged agu engine,water meth injection and normally aspirated cams. The question I have is regarding the coil packs. The standard ibiza ones don't fit but does anyone know if I buy agu coils it will obviously fit engine but will it work with my ibiza wiring / loom.

R32 Anti Roll Bar issue!

Right chaps,

Just had my R32 anti roll bar powder coated and they've bashed off the plastic stoppers where the bush buts up to...

Do these matter or is it just so you know where the bushes go? If they do matter, can these be replaced?

This car is a 2010 model registered in July 2010 with 16,000 miles. I have had the car for almost 2 years and was bought directly from SEAT.

Black cloth interior, bluetooth, rain sensor and auto-headlights, rear parking sensors, auto dimming rear view mirror, hill hold assist, cruise control, aux and usb for ipod/iphone integration, geniune SEAT spolier added after purchase which enhances the rear look of the car.

I have loved every minute of ownership and i am reluctantly having to sell due to the purchase of my new home. The car is in very good condition, there are a few stonechips on the front, slight kerbing damage to front offside alloy and a small scratch behind drivers door handle. There is outstanding finance on this vehicle which will be settled on the day of purchase before the buyer drives away, hence the reason for a reduced price in comparison to similar vehicles for sale.
