Guys sorry to ask this but thinking of a big mod to my car (+200 bhp) it will be a road car but I will take out other track day insurance. Do your underwriters have any issues with Big Power and lots of mods (Front and Side skirts along with rear defuser, new media system, Wheels etc.)

Not looking for a quote just making sure I can get road car insurance.

LOL, just seen your "thinking of a big mod" what the heck happened to +200? Just a little understatement now I've seen where you're at!

no was looking at stage 3 which is 500 bhp vs 280 stock. some insurance co wont do insurance if you are over 100 above stock. also main stream seem to get twichy when you do lots of body mods. but its 10k to go from 1 to 3 so i think it will be stage 2 first and save for a while.

Hi,
Just to let you know that generally our modified car schemes have no ceiling cap on BHP.

Dan.
