Not enough to make money out of it and it will deny you of the option of reverting your car back to OEM/stock.

I will sell my facelift unit when I sell the car, probably value drops a few tenners but still OK I guess.

Don't you think would be better to sell with as looks better and prob draw more attention

Is it not worth much with full fascia and heaters?

Depends if you sell private or dealer, private will probably increase value as the potential buyer will definitely like the look of the facelift control (specially if he had seen other Mk2 Leon's with the old unit).

A dealer will probably dont give sh*t about it and rather have it OEM because they normally dont like self-modded cars.

It's only a bit of fascia and a control unit m8, no heaters. I would guess value of the pre-FL cc unit is around 35 pounds (50 Euro).

Sorry to bring up an old post but how is pin 20 removed??? I managed to get number 16 out of the connector by pushing down on the little metal clip but pin 20 is completely different. Pins 1-18 are in a cluster that removes from the connector which reveals the clips needed to be pushed to release the pin but pins 19 and 20 are separate from the cluster and have no clips for removing them ... ???

I try to do this swap, it didn't work.
It don't cold down temp with aircon. It only blow air.

Now neither a equal climatronic like i had before work... It stop blowing fresh air after I while, maybe because i can't do the basic test calibration.

I have a similar problem after switching the units over from pre FL to FL whereby when I turn the aircon on, cold air will blow out of the vents then after about 1 to 2 minutes the air coming out of the vents slows down and the cold air stops and normal air is thrown out of the vents instead. Took it to the garage who have said it needs to be sent to a SEAT dealership to have them look at it as they have no idea what's causing it, but at £109 p/h at my local SEAT dealer I'd rather just cook on the rare occasion we have a hot day in Britain!

That's what is accouring in my climatronic.
Already try to return to pre-fl climatronic, and now even that do that.
It just stop blowing fresh air from the vents.
Seat say it need a new climatronic, but i already try that and don't work.

Hi all has anybody ever fitted a fl head unit into a pre fl as I want to change the climate control and the head unit but unsure if the radio will be plug and play or it will need coding.

Cheers

Will be plug and play wiring wise, will obvs need radio code and if you have the large screen it may not work due to conflicting fw

Yes. But if you dont reroute the wiring on the A-connector it has no memory set in the unit and therefore it will be @ random settings every time you start up the car. Annoying but all settings work as it should :)

Hi, i know this is an old thread and god knows how many of you still have your car seat leons, but ive just got one, im more of a golf guy, but i liked this one and needed a run around. Im wanting to fl my interior, iv found a climate panel, bjt tk reroute, you put pin 16 on connector A to pin 20? But then where do i put the wire from pin 20? Back into 16? Or just leave it out completely? Also what facia do I need to install a newer radio stereo from the facift (will get a nav later as i have other things to purchase as of yet) thanks
