Hi, im new to the forums so pls forgive if this is a really bad question. Im looking to buy a 2nd hand ibiza sport mk4 2004 reg. Something similar to this:

Anyway i was looking at the newer models, which have a new style bumper like this:

I was just wondering if i could buy a new style bumper from a seat dealer, spray it etc, and fit it to a 2004 model as shown above. Would the bumper fit? Or are there any differences, complications etc because from what i can see is that they are the same car.

it doesnt include the little black spoiler (lip) at the bottom tho but you could fit a spoiler to your new cupra bumper and it would look the same

I like the colour, its alot more vivid than emocion red. Plus i like your honeycombe grilles on the bumper, they look alot sportier than the standard straight ones. btw how much did the bumper + respray cost you if you remember?

i think i paid £400 for front and back bumper and was £180 to paint and fit

PS make sure you get the little bit of grill that covers the towing hook in the front bumper.

Honeycombe grils cost about £25-£30, i dont really remember im sure someone on here will know though

yes AFAIK could use the top grils off your old bumper to cut back costs,
fog lights cost a few quid tho think its about £120-130 for the set!
