Hey guys and gals!
Long time no see, man I have lots to catch up on here! :O
Got a few things I need to address with the Leon of mine but for now only need to focus on 2 things, Engine Coolant and the secondary/aux water pump
Engine Coolant does need topping up, though been looking at the online manual and it states something about G12 coolant, though I've read about G12+ can mix with both G11 and G12 but never to mix G11 and G12 together!
So given my little issue, would you say get some G12+ to top up my Water Coolant for now or? As searching for G12+ I've come across people saying G12++ and G13
On to the water pump, I'm going to need to get this changed soon, next few months hopefully or sooner if I can muster the money! Which side or how would I manage to get the product code on it? There are Pierburg ones available on x-site, but states that they are only applicable if the old unit is also Pierburg... So my problem there is how do I find out it's a Pierburg while it's still on the car haha! Is there any way to take a picture? I know the back of the pump (a clip where the board for it is) has been open and I managed to take it off a few months ago and the board itself looked like it had burned out on some parts, may still have a picture but will have to root for it if not I might take or try to take another shot when I get chance!
Thanks in advance all and hope everyone is doing well!
