intermittant loss of power help? - SEAT Cupra.net

Can anyone shed any light on this fault please?. I have a 2004 mk4 cupra 160, just in the last few weeks the turbo has been wining under very low revs and intermitantly when put my foot down i don t get alot of power but i get clouds of black smoke and and loud woushhing noise under the bonet.
Also since i have had the car in the last 6 months it starts up very lazy from cold ie like its got to much fuel in and takes a few seconds to crank over and the rev counter will go up a good way and once running come down this is intermittant. It then is very flat for about the first half a mile. No warning lights or faults. Seams like its over fueling?
I have changed the glow plugs, added fuel treatments. Could it be an air flow meter fault?

99% will be a boost leak. check all your boost pipes and joints under the bonnet.
