Fitted my Forge 007 DV....

Just like to say a big thanks to Forge, ordered my 007p on Wednesday, arrive saturday morning, fitted it in 10 mins, I thought I'd put it on reversed to hear what kind of noise it make.... pleased to hear a nice high pitched noise on lift off... bit fast and furious but hey.

It has made a hell of a difference to the smoothness of my engine... pulls boost so much better, no hesitations like before (my old DV must have been on the way out).... 10 out of 10.

If anyone hasn't got one yet....... BUY ONE....

the only trouble with fitting in reverse is you are relying on the spring to hold it shut. I changed mine back to normal way when i found this out

Oh, just idle curiosity, as I haven't had mine mapped yet, and I am running the standard rubber DV.

I didn't know that the mapping could cater for a specific fuel octane, but I guess thinking about it, it is pretty obvious. I presume that increases the "judder" if for some reason you have to revert to the cheaper stuff though!

After a while on 95 Octane... mine goes into limp mode..... not good

But on high octane.... its awesome !!

Judging by the bhp figure, its a generic mapping, from who I dont know... but am trying to contact the previous owner.

I paid £80 direct from Forge (great service and very quick delivery, even on bank holiday weekend) for the polished version.

I think its only that price during April though...
