205 full blown track car - PICS 22/09/09
Just went down to Morecambe today to pick up a new beast that me and dad have bought.
Some specs on the car, but LAD have kept quiet about most of the exact parts used: Engine: - Engine has been fully rebuilt, it has a lightened crankshaft and flywheel, competition pistons, main and big end bearings. - Big valve trackday specification cylinder head and camshaft. - Twin 45 DCOE Weber carburettors mounted to a gas flowed inlet manifold. - An oil cooler to cope with trackday driving temperatures. - Uprated clutch and the gear box fully rebuilt to include trackday gears and final drive kit. - A quick shift gear linkage Handling: - Spax RSX adjustable suspension, with group 'N' top mounts - Group 'N' mounts - 283mm front discs and trackday specification pads, with brackets to accommodate 283mm discs. Interior: - Interior has been fully stripped, plastic windows were fitted along with cut away doors. - OMP roll cage and 2 bucket seats fitted all FIA approved. - Body was striped down and re-painted by Dave Horn body works, the under side of the car has been sealed and wax oiled. The car meets MSA noise control limits. The car is still road legal, just had to add a few parts that weren't on when we bought it. It is running 195hp, but want to get it on a rolling road to prove the figure. ***NEW VIDEOS (POST 26, PAGE 2)*** ***KH TRACKDAY 1 (POST 31, PAGE 2)*** ***SUSPENSION & MOUNTS (POST 37, PAGE 2)*** ***KH TRACKDAY 2 (POST 38, PAGE 2)*** Some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some videos: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ockhill104.flv http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ockhill105.flv http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ockhill106.flv http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ockhill107.flv http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ockhill108.flv Last edited by Ibiza125; 22-09-2009 at 10:18. |

Part worn slicks are cheap as anything, wouldnt be worth buying anything like R888s as they go off after a few fast laps anyway
