Aftermarket headunit fitting - ISO adapter 'hacking' - power issue

I have just purchased a brand new Blaupunkt headunit, I can plug the unit directly in to the car, using the cars original cables, with no need for adapter cables etc.

However I am having the same issue as I had with my pioneer headunit that I had in the car for 1 week. The permanent live and the ignition live are around the wrong way around.

I have followed the link to: http://briskoda.net/ice-security-ins...hacking/90069/

That has shown me why I am having trouble removing the connections.

I have got a multimeter and have identified permanent live on the black plug:- cable colour: black and blue position no.7, the other permanent live is gray and white position number 3.

The iginition live brown and red, position 4.

I have been told to swap the permanent live and the ignition live, however, there are 2 permanent lives to choose from! Does anyone know which live I should be swapping round?
