I take it back about the audi rings being black. Looks good on that white one

P.s, glad you're enjoying the car. I had contemplated going back to a diesel as I go on my downhill bike a lot, but I need to get some money saved up first so I can afford to take a big hit if I do decide to change

I have gloss black wheels now - they look fantastic. Each to their own.

Dropped car off tonight for pimp tints at Ultimate Tinting in Sandbach. Nice chap there and very into his motors. Very clean workshop. Nice Mk3 golf VR sat in the garage along with a Leon. Full days job he reckons so pickup teatime tomorrow and he was going to spend a few hrs on it tonight also. 23% tint on rear doors, rear quarters, and rear.

http://www.ultimatetinting.co.uk/win...p?PartnerID=48

Example Audi A6

His mate is a Bentley trim tech so is going to fetch the front Audi rings off so we can fit the black ones. Looks like a sod of a job to me and dead easy to damage the grill. Which is a Black Pack one = expensive. So better a tech does it I reckon.

Also, been in to local DVLA office today to swap no. plates over from old car. Lets just say its an interesting crowd in those places LOL.

Ordered some black tinted side repeaters and some mcgard black edition locking wheel bolts, as the stock audi lockers are radius seat, and the compos are 60'degree taper. Also having one factory grey wheel nut cover looked odd with 4 black ones. Private plates ordered. Also discussed with Oli at Ultimate Tinting putting a slight dark tint on rear lights, he says he has just the thing which is also mot legal. Getting there.

Rear lights a-la Mk2 Ibiza Cupra 16V (well look anyway)

Sounds all rather tasteful Rob.

I like the sound of it all 'dark'

Fair enough. Keen to see the finished result. Been looking at an A6 myself with a new family now.
